See Ya 2020! Wouldn’t wanna be Ya!

Good God – I cannot wait to see the ass end of 2020. It has been SHIT. Really, really shit.
Ok, some people thrived & were complete winners through 2020 – Amazon anyone? – but others? Well, the struggle was incredibly real. It is still incredibly real.

So haere rā 2020. Adiós. Sayonara. Ciao. Au revoir. Auf Wiedersehen. Ma’a as-salaama. Namaste. Khodaa haafez. Just bloody Vale!
And I have to say, if I hear the word PIVOT even once in 2021, I am going to scream like the biggest, baddest Banshee you ever did hear.

2020 was a year like no other and one that will, without any doubt, never be remembered in a fond way. EVER!
So I am being positive, I am seeking the bright side in the given situation.
For many it was actually a good thing that we were all forced to push that PAUSE button. That we’ve taken time to reflect on our lives, our families and the world we live in. For many, it has made us think about things that are really important, things that really matter.

And the logic is, if we follow through with these positive ideas and thoughts, on these changes we want to see happen, etc, then there’s no doubt that the world will be a better place in 2021. Makes sense right?

I want a better world. I want a world where we can travel again. But I also want a world where we travel better, slower, deeper, and with more meaning.

Travel needs to be sustainable; for the planet and the communities visited. While the ‘new’ travel experience might look and feel very different once the world begins to re-open, what you can count on from many Operators, smaller ones in particular, is a transformative and positive impact of travel in the destinations we visit for the better. Imagine that – travel for good. For real, not just a slogan. Travel where we can re-energize; where we can re-connect; where we stay longer so we contribute more; where we stay longer so we can learn more; where we where we leave far smaller footprints. Where we stop and smell the roses, not just take a bloody selfie with them.

So we have been really busy behind the scenes designing some incredible Hosted Tours, Creative Retreats, Wellness Escapes and a few Walks for 2021 and 2022.
Journeys where you will eat, laugh, drink, do, rest, breathe, meet, immerse, learn and create. It really is the most amazing combination.

We need to keep you safe and look after your interests when booking and travelling with us.

To make sure we keep you safe and comply with Covid requirements we only work with suppliers who have Covid safe plans; we always have hand sanitiser and wipes on hand as well as face masks available for you as you require.

With regards to payments, if, due to Covid, we need to postpone a tour and we have received your deposit but not passed on payment to our suppliers, you can choose to postpone with the tour date change, receive a credit note or receive a refund of your deposit paid.

If we have paid deposits/final payments to suppliers which cannot be returned, and we have to postpone due to Covid lockdowns, we have agreements in place that ensure we can move to an alternative dates. Please check our booking terms by tour, and standard terms and conditions, when you are filling out your booking form for full details.
