Because everyone deserves a selfie in front of Kinkaku-ji.

And yes, Kinkaku-ji, the 'Golden Pavilion' is a Zen temple whose top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf. So get your sunglasses ready, this is one hell of a dazzling temple!
.
It is a ‘Historic Monument of Ancient Kyoto’ World Heritage Site and has become an icon of Japanese architecture. And it is absolutely a sight to behold.
.

A tajine - or tagine - is a North African dish, named after the earthenware pot in which it is cooked.
.
There are many different types of tagines; most often made with whatever is seasonally available and with an emphasis on the vegetable/s instead of the meat.

You will always find tajine served with some sort of Moroccan bread. It’s not just a side accompaniment but the tool that is used to eat the dish. A tajine is meant to be eaten with bread to scoop it up – not with a knife and fork.
.
Moroccan tajines often combine lamb or chicken with a medley of ingredients or seasonings: olives, quinces, apples, pears, apricots, raisins, prunes, dates, and nuts, with fresh or preserved lemons.

Traditional spices that are used to flavour tajines include ground cinnamon, saffron, ginger, turmeric, cumin, paprika, and pepper, as well as the famous spice blend Ras el hanout.

Restarting Hosted Tours after over two years certainly does include some challenges among the excitement!
.
To ensure that the quality of our tours is what I expect, and what our guests deserve, we've decided to restart with a smaller 'limited number' per group, and fewer departures - in 2022 - than we would have pre-covid.
.
We need to slowly ease back in, we need to gently land somewhere new again; and we need to make sure our Guests are 100% looked after, made to feel safe, and not feel like they are being huddled around.
.
But rest assured, our amazing 2023 tours will be added as soon as they are ready, and if there is a tour you are interested in, it's worth contacting us to be put on the waiting list to get those tour dates first.
.
To give you an idea of where we could be taking you in 2023: Norway, Egypt; Portugal; Greece, Sri Lanka & Chile for starters.
